I've watched Frankie's videos on the Arma 2 DayZ mod for years and now I've finally started playing them myself. I have to admit it's more frustrating than I thought. Not much prey and the effing zombies keep chasing me. Wtf, can you climb ladders now? My big question is, "Does the amount of loot depend on the number of players in the game?" I have oriented myself on some empty servers and there is hardly anything nearby. Please help, I want to enjoy this game, but it has been a disappointment so far. Thank you!

Definitely not, but every server owner can decide how much loot spawns. Maybe you should look out for a high loot server

The loot can be adjusted individually, this varies from server to server and usually has nothing to do with the number of players. As James Hartmann said, look for a highloot server
