Starting its life as an April Fools' joke, Arma 3 Karts is Arma 3's first premium downloadable content (DLC). It was released six years ago in 2014 on the 29th of May, and served as a pilot test of Arma 3's DLC 'content-licensing' technology[http://www.bohemia.net] – a new system designed to prevent a split in our game's multiplayer community between DLC owners and non-owners. After Arma 3 Karts' first million of Czech koruna in proceeds was donated to charity[http://www.bohemia.net], it maintained its popularity and went on to become the best-selling Arma 3 DLC to date.
